Happy Mothers Day 2009 and 2010

Had a great Mothers Day with Buddy and Hubby, we spent the day at the pond fishing this year. Last Mothers Day was amazing because that was the day Wes came home from Iraq. I remember all the soldiers marching onto the parade field carrying a white carnation in hand to give to their loved ones.

The banner we order for Wes and Tab came down from Fort Worth and brought this yummy cake down. As you can tell , Wes enjoyed it.

Vacations

We had the opportunity to take a few vacations last year and this year. Had a wonderful time with Wes and Buddy in Aruba, enjoying the beaches and rented a car and drove from one end to the other end of the island. The best part of Aruba was going to Baby Beach, we were the only people there for hours. We also had the opportunity to take a Submarine tour. Spent a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge with my sister. This was the first time enjoying an indoor water park. This July, we went to Disney World!!! We were able to visit all four of the theme parks, I'm glad we waited to take Buddy when he was older so he could remember it and plus he was able to ride all the rides. Great times and Great memories!!!!

May 2010: Swim Day for Tobie

The 50 meter pool on post was going to take down the "bubble" cover to get ready for the summer. Every year they have, bring your dog to the pool. All dogs were welcome, we decided to take Tobie to the pool, she loves the water and she had a blast doing her swimming.

Spring Break 2010

Me and my sister decided to spend Spring Break in the great city of Vegas!! We have been there many times but this was the first time just us! We had a BLAST!!! We went and saw The Blue Man Group, Raft in the Colorado river and ate some yummy food!!

Valentines 2010

We decided to take a break from unpacking and spend our Valentines in Fort Worth. We enjoyed our dinner at the Melting Pot, this was our first time there and fell in love! Yummy food with my Love!

Welcome to The Home of Heroes

Fort Polk

WoW!!! Its been way too long since I have posted anything!!! Alot has happen, we are no longer in Texas! Wes had orders to sign in at Fort Polk, LA January 2010. So we said good bye to Ft Hood-The Great Place to Fort Polk- The Home of Heroes. Once we arrived, we were fortunate to stay in temporary housing until we got our housing. Seven weeks later we finally moved into our home, a little smaller than Hood but we will manage. The neighborhood is way different than Hood, very crowded. Got to love all the Pine trees!!
